Derby-based rail services provider ISS Labour has capitalised on nationwide rail investment to double its turnover in the past two years.
The business manages and supplies a complete delivery service in track renewals, projects, maintenance and minor works within the UK Rail and Light-Rail sectors. As part of the Specialist People Services (SPS) Group, ISS Labour posted revenues of £23m in the financial year to March 2017, a significant increase from the £13.5m for the FY ending March 2015.

Specialist People Services (SPS) has been recognised as one of Europe’s fastest growing businesses by the Financial Times.
The business is included in the FT1000, a list of Europe’s 1,000 fastest-growing companies based on revenue growth between 2012 and 2015.
The inaugural list was produced in association with Statista, a market research company, and includes companies from 24 countries. It will be featured in a supplement published in the Financial Times on Monday 24th April.

For the third year running, SPS (Specialist People Services) Group, which includes Driver Hire, was a sponsor of the Royal Logistic Corps annual ski championship. Now into its 22nd year, the 2017 championships were held at Ruhpolding in Germany’s Bavarian Alps.
The championship, which takes place over two weeks, attracted more than 400 regular and reserve Royal Logistic Corps officers and soldiers, who competed in both Alpine and Nordic ski events. The 2017 event drew a record number of competitors.

Specialist People Services (SPS) has announced it will open a fifth office for Driver Hire Australia, its specialist transport and logistics recruitment business.
The Adelaide site is due to open in March 2017, the group’s fifth year of operating in the country. It complements Driver Hire Australia’s existing offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
