Driver Hire celebrates extending its reach with the biggest network expansion in a single calendar year.
During the first quarter of 2025, the network was boosted by seven new locations, covering Eastbourne, Grantham, Newark, Diss, Thetford, Halesworth and Sudbury.
Ash Elsom and his partner Daisy Barrett (pictured) are joint owners of Driver Hire Colchester: “Sudbury was an area within our franchise territory where we were quite light,” says Ash.
“When we started looking to grow the business further, expanding our reach there was the next logical step.
“We were already doing some business in Sudbury and recruiting drivers. Opening a new recruitment hub covering Sudbury enables us to reach out and deliver a more localised service to clients and drivers. Our service will be fully supported by our management and operations team, who’ll be on hand to deal with both day-to-day and last-minute recruitment needs.
“We’re proud to be creating new career opportunities – both temporary and permanent – for people living in the area. And, of course, we’re now meeting the staffing needs of other local businesses and organisations right across our new territory.”
